ADHOC Conference Calls

The ADHOC Conference Call feature allows you to add extra participants to an active call in Webcalls. You can add up to 15 participants to a single call.

Requirements

• You have an active call in Webcalls

• You are logged in as a user (extension 203 or similar)

Step 1 – Start a call

Call an internal or external number via Webcalls as you normally would. Once the other party has answered, the call is active.

Step 2 – Open the Conference feature

During the active call, click the Conference button in the action bar at the bottom of the screen.

💡 The action bar contains the following buttons: Record, Mute, Hold, Keypad, Conference, Transfer, and Hang up.

Step 3 – Add a participant

A dial window will open. Enter the internal or external number of the person you want to add to the call.

• Internal: enter the extension number (e.g. 3218)

• External: enter the full phone number (e.g. +31 6 12345678)

Press the green call button to dial.

Step 4 – Participant answers

Once the added person answers, they are automatically added to the conference call.

The call screen will display all participants, each with their individual call duration.

Step 5 – Manage participants

As the initiator of the call, you are the administrator of the conference call. You have the following management options per participant:

Click the corresponding icon next to the participant's name or number to perform the action.

Step 6 – End the call

• Want to remove one participant? Click the red hang-up icon next to that person.

• Want to end the entire call? Click the Hang up button in the action bar.

Notes

• You can add a maximum of 15 participants to an ADHOC conference call.

• Only the initiator (the person who started the conference) has administrative rights over the participants.

• Participants can be added using both internal extension numbers and external phone numbers.
