đ Flow Control App
The Flow Control App allows you to create a call diversion (alternative call route) within your dial plan.
This makes it easy to quickly activate or deactivate a predefined route â for example, to enable voicemail, redirect calls, or play a specific message.
You can create multiple diversions, each with its own unique code that can be entered on any IP phone to switch the diversion on or off.
When toggled, youâll hear an audio confirmation indicating whether the diversion has been activated or deactivated.
Once a diversion is set up in the phone system, thereâs no need to log in to the control panel to manage it.
âď¸ Configuration
When adding the Flow Control App to your dial plan, youâll be asked to configure the following options:
đ˘ Speed Dial Code
Enter a desired code to activate the diversion.
This code consists of the internal number of the dial plan (for example, the last four digits of the phone number), followed by an asterisk [*] and a custom sequence number.
âĄď¸ Example: 3242*1
By dialing this code, you can toggle the diversion on or off. Youâll hear a tone confirming the current status.
đˇď¸ Label
Assign a name to the diversion. This label will appear in your dial plan view, making it easy to recognize.
đ Diversion Status
Use the toggle switch to manually set the diversion to Active or Inactive.
đĄ Tip:
If youâre using a Yealink device, you can configure the Flow Control as a button on your phone. This allows you to see and manage the diversion status directly from your device. đ
