Email requirements billing portal
The billing portal can send invoices via email and will send them using the email address set from your domain name. To ensure that these emails do not end up in spam for the recipient, you need to apply the following settings:
Whitelabel reseller
If you use whitelabeling on the PBX (own URL and logo), you have already received DKIM records from us for all email notifications sent from the PBX. You don't need to make any extra settings for the billing portal.
Non-whitelabel reseller
If you do not use whitelabeling on the PBX, you can apply the following settings:
SPF record
If you already have an SPF record in your DNS records, you need to add ip4:185.19.236.0/22.
If you don't have an SPF in use, create the following:
Type | TXT |
|---|---|
Host | * |
Value | v=spf1 a mx ip4:185.19.236.0/22 ~all |
TTL | 3600 |
If the changes do not work, you can contact your domain name provider for assistance.
After a few hours, you can verify the change via https://mxtoolbox.com/spf.aspx. If the email still ends up in spam, we recommend following the next step.
Use https://www.mail-tester.com/ to send a test email from the billing portal to check if the changes were applied correctly.
